A Boonville man is facing a couple of felony charges after an alleged incident nearly a year ago in Cooper County.
According to a probable-cause statement, on June 22, a resident reported their residence was burglarized, and taken were three televisions, a watch and an Xbox 360 travel bag. The items were valued by the resident at more than $2,000. In order to gain access to the inside of the residence, a screen and window were broken. An investigation revealed a suspect.
Marquan Dejuan Pitre has been charged with Class D Felonies for Burglary in the Second Degree and Stealing of $750 or More. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Pitre’s initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
