An area health agency is offering some tips on how face coverings should be used.
The Pettis County Health Center is urging you to “Do your part to Stop The Spread!”
The Health Center says to remember to continue to wear face masks that cover your nose and mouth when in public spaces to lessen the probability of contagion. Wearing a face mask correctly can help prevent the spread of COVID-19 to others. Your face mask should:
–Reach above your nose, below your chin and completely cover your mouth and nostrils;
–Fit snugly against the sides of your face;
–If homemade, be made of multiple layers of fabric that you can still breathe through; and
–If homemade, be able to be laundered and machine dried without damaging the material or shape.
