No new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Saline County on Sunday, May 17.
According to Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer, the total number of positive cases confirmed remains at Saturday’s total of 251. She says 196 patients have recovered, leaving 55 active cases.
There have been two COVID-19-related deaths in the county.
Six persons have been hospitalized.
These numbers are based on case management provided by the Health Department Staff.
Brewer continues to urge people to practice social distancing; wear masks when proper social distancing is not an option in public places; and use proper hygiene practices.
