Missouri Valley College has announced Eleven Missouri Valley College softball 11 student-athletes have been recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association for their efforts in the classroom.  The eleven students from the Viking Softball team who received the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Award:

Junior Whitney Bean (West Valley City, Utah)

Freshman Karli Benson (West Des Moines, Iowa)

Freshman Outfielder Mackenzie Carder (Conroe, Texas)

Sophomore Jillian Esterly (Belle Plaine, Kan.)

Senior Madison Finley (Papillion, Neb.)

Freshman Viviana Gamez (Newark, Calif.)

Senior Emily Manhao (Vancouver, British Columbia)

Freshman Jennika Odo (Kaneohe, Hawaii)

Freshman Chanelle Page (Broken Arrow, Okla.)

Freshman Paige Rademann (Eugene, Ore.)

Freshman Celeste Rodriguez (Bay City, Texas)

Benson, Finley and Rademann, led the team in GPA. Each each have earned a cumulative 4.0 GPA as a student at Missouri Valley College.

Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, on a 4.0 scale, to receive the award.  Since the 2019 season, the Viking softball program has earned 22 academic awards from the NFCA.
