Willis Kirchhoff, age 94, of rural Emma, died Thursday, May 21, 2020.
Private family services will be held at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia. Burial with military rites will be in St. John Cemetery near Emma. Friends may come by the funeral home from noon until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27. Anyone choosing to come by the funeral home, will be required to wear face, and social distancing will be observed. Survivors include four children, Kathy Turnipseed (Lynn) of Fenton, MO, Rick Kirchhoff (Sheryl) of Smithville, MO, Randy Kirchhoff of Emma and Tim Kirchhoff (Lisa) of Kansas City North, MO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Willis was preceded in death by his parents, Otto Kirchhoff and Helen Bodenstab Kirchhoff; wife, Jo Ann Lee; one daughter, Joy Kirchhoff; one sister; and five brothers.
