There are some bond and tax issues to be voted on in cities and school districts in Saline County during the Municipal Election on Tuesday, June 2.
Voters in the Sweet Springs R-7 School district will decide on a $2.5 million bond. If approved, the debt-service levy is to stay unchanged at 87.69 cents per $100 of real and personal property. This issue also will include some voting from Pettis and Johnson Counties.
The town of Blackburn is asking voters to approve a one-cent sales tax.
A renewal of a 30-cent tax levy is asked for in the Village of Arrow Rock.
The city of Malta Bend also is asking voters whether or not it can forego future elections if the number of candidates equals the number of seats to be filled.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
