The number of confirmed case of COVID-19 went up by four on Wednesday,
According to the Lafayette County Health Department, these new cases bring the total to 80 with 24 active cases.
There are currently 54 persons who have been released from observation. There have been no new deaths related to the virus in Lafayette County.
These new cases are in the nursing home in Waverly reported previously.
