After five days of no new confirmed cases of COVID-19, and extensive testing being done on Friday at the Saline County Jail, the number of cases in Saline County has risen to 280.
The Saline County Health Department says there are currently 240 persons who have been released from observation, leaving 38 active cases in the county.
There are currently five people hospitalized and there have been no new deaths reported due to the virus in Saline County.
These numbers are based on case management provided by the health department Staff.
