For now, the number of roadways that were closed due to floodwaters on Monday, has decreased. But with Tropical Depression Cristobal hitting the state today, that could change.
According to MoDOT, roadways that were closed in Saline County have been reopened to traffic. However, there are closures now in Carroll, Chariton, Howard and Johnson Counties.
In Carroll County, Highway 10 between Carrollton and Norborne that was closed is now open to traffic. Route Z northwest of Coloma is closed due to flood damage sustained on May 18; and Route C- between Routes D and F- remains closed due to a bridge that was damaged during flooding in May 2019.
In Chariton County, Route J south of Dalton remains closed.
Route Z off of Highway 87 northwest of Boonville and Route H northeast of Fayette in Howard County are closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23 between Concordia and Knob Noster is closed.
