Due to the rainfall dumped on west-central Missouri by Tropical Depression Cristobal on Tuesday and the rainfall that came before it, several roadways in the KMMO listening area are closed due to flooding.
According to MODOT, there are multiple closures in Chariton and Howard Counties, and one roadway remains closed in Johnson County.
In Chariton County, Route J south of Dalton; Route NN south of Salisbury; Route O just west of Missouri Highway 129 and north of Salisbury; Route P just south of Laconda; and Route E just east of Rothville are closed.
In Howard County, closures include Route H northeast of Fayette; Missouri Highway 124 east of Fayette; Route W between Fayette and Hilldale; and Route P northeast of New Franklin and Route A north of Hilldale, which were reduced to one lane this morning, are now closed.
Missouri Highway 23 between Concordia and Knob Noster in Johnson County which was closed this morning is now open to traffic.
