The last time we heard of any new cases of the virus in Carroll County was May 26. On Friday, the Carroll County Health Department reported the 10th case of the virus in the county. This new case is reportedly the only active case in the county.
Health Department staff continues to work on locating and notifying anyone who may have come into close contact with the individuals and possibly exposed to the virus. Persons who may have been exposed will be given guidance and will be closely monitored for development of any symptoms.
The community is urged to continue to follow social distancing guidelines and good hygiene practices.
