The Carroll County Health Department has confirmed another positive case of COVID-19 in the county.
This new case makes a total of 11 positive cases. There are currently only two active cases and nine have been released from observation.
Health Department staff continues to work on locating and notifying anyone who may have come into close contact with the individuals and possibly exposed to the virus. Persons who may have been exposed will be given guidance and will be closely monitored for development of any symptoms.
Even though restrictions are being lifted, it is the hope of the health department that we continue to be diligent in washing hands and social distancing to prevent us from taking a step back.
