The saline county showdown cattle show will be held at the Saline County fairgrounds on Saturday July 18. Checks in times are 7 to 8 a.m. for swine, 8 to 9 a.m. for sheep and goats, and 10 to 11 a.m. for cattle.  The show starts at 8:30 a.m.
Show order is; swine, sheep, goats and cattle.  Female breeding and market classes will be available to all species.
Awards will be given for showmanship in all species. Class premiums will be paid with breed and overall champion prizes.  This event is open to youth 21 years or under (as of January 1^st) that reside in Saline, Cooper, Howard, Chariton, Carroll, Lafayette and Pettis county.
Stalling in barn will be on a first come – first serve basis.  Health papers will be required according to state guidelines.
