A 19-year-old Boonville man facing felony charges after an alleged incident nearly a year ago in Cooper County waived his right to a Preliminary Hearing.
On June 22, 2018 a resident reported their residence was burglarized and a number of items were stolen that were valued at more than $2,000. The suspect reportedly gained access to the inside of the residence through a screen and window that had been broken.
The suspect who was later identified as Marquan Dejuan Pitre. He has been charged with Class D Felonies for Burglary in the Second Degree and Stealing of $750 or More. Pitre posted surety bond on April 30.
Pitre waived his right to a Preliminary Hearing during a court proceeding on Tuesday, June 30. His cause has been bound-over to Circuit Court and an Arraignment Hearing is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 27, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
