Some bids were approved during the meeting of the Marshall School Board on Monday, June 29.
According to minutes from the meeting, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz reported the district received three bids for copy services. The board approved a five-year contract with the district’s present company- Ricoh USA, Inc., in the amount of $10,002.38 a month.
Dr. Lorenz reported Converged Technology Solutions submitted a bid for Securly 360 Cloud Service to provide on-campus and mobile-device security and filtering. The board voted to accept a three-year agreement in the amount of $25,900 for these services.
Dr. Lorenz also reported the district received a bid from Converged Technology Solutions in the amount of $37,560 for thermal imaging cameras. The board voted to table making a decision until the July board meeting.
In addition, the board voted to provisionally approve the MHS, BMS, elementary and coach and activities handbooks, contingent upon them being proofread and corrected before printing.
The board also accepted the resignation of girls’ tennis coach Susan Carney as of the end of the 2019-20 school year.
