A Knob Noster teen was flown from the scene of a traffic crash involving three vehicles in Johnson County on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 19-year-old Madison Ayscue was turning her westbound vehicle left and her vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle, driven by 50-year-old Chari Fisher, of Higginsville. After impact, Ayscue’s vehicle struck another westbound vehicle, driven by 42-year-old Joshua Shire, of Knob Noster.
Ayscue was transported by Life Flight helicopter to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City for treatment of serious injuries. Fisher was taken by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment of minor injuries. Shire was not injured.
The crash happened at 1:33 p.m. on Business 13 at U.S. Highway 50.
