A 47-year-old Fayette resident who is facing a felony charge relating to an alleged incident in March has had his cause bound-over to the Circuit Court.
A woman alleges that on March 4, Santana Graves assaulted her with a closed fist after he had been drinking.
When authorities arrived, they say the woman was holding a towel to her head that contained a significant amount of blood. The woman reportedly had two large gashes on her left eyelid; and her eye was swollen shut and bruising. The woman was transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
Graves has been charged with a Class E Felony for Domestic Assault in the Third Degree. Bond has been fixed at $100,000 cash only.
Grave’s waived his Preliminary Hearing and his cause has been bound-over to the Circuit Court. An arraignment is Graves’ case has is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21 at Howard County Circuit Court.
