During the meeting of the Concordia Board of Aldermen this week, the city’s financial advisor reported that pursuant to the notice of bond sale provided to potential bidders, bids for the purchase of the city’s combined waterworks and sewerage system refunding revenue bonds, series 2020, had been received electronically.
According to unofficial meeting minutes, aldermen reviewed and considered the bids, and it was found and determined that the bid of First Bankers’ Banc Securities, Inc., of St. Louis, was the best bid. The city’s financial advisor advised the board that certain adjustments to the maturity amounts shown in the best bid, as permitted in the notice of bond sale, will be in the best interest of the city to complete the refunding as planned.
The board gave its approval to an ordinance authorizing the issuance of the combined waterworks and sewerage system refunding revenue bonds.
The board also approved an ordinance accepting and approving the final plat of Lot 3 and 4 of the Rhineland Acres Subdivision.
