The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the state increased by nearly 800 over the weekend.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 10, the total was 26,661. By 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, the total had grown to 27,443.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 1,069 from Friday to Sunday. However, DHSS does not report how many patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 13.
