A couple of bridgework projects have closed portions of roadways in Cooper County.
A news release says bridge replacement has closed Highway 179 over the Petite Saline Creek. The bridge is scheduled to be closed through August.
Bridge deck rehabilitation is taking place on Route K, south of Route DD, over the Blackwater River. The bridge is scheduled to be closed through late August.
During daylight hours, pavement patching is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 13, on Highway 98 between Highway 87 and Old Highway 98; and on Route N between Highway 135 North and Highway 135 South.
The work is scheduled to take place through Friday, July 17.
All work is weather dependent.
