New Brunswick R-II Superintendent Cara Engelbrecht and the school board have put together a plan for the district and its students heading into the 2020-21 school year.
Engelbrecht, who was the high school principal for nine years prior to replacing Bob Kottman, who retired at the end of the June, says the goal, at this point, is to have all students return for face-to-face classes on Wednesday, August 26.
Engelbrecht said she put out a video about the “Return To Learn” plan, a school supply list and a time line for a return to school on the district’s Facebook page.

Engelbrecht says the Question and Answer form- kind of like a list of Frequently-Asked-Questions- has been sent to parents.
Engelbrecht says there are two to six bullet points to explain answers to each question.
If parents have any questions, they can call the district at (660) 548-3771.
