One new positive case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Lafayette County on Sunday, August 2

According to the Lafayette County Health Department, these new cases bring the confirmed total number of positive cases to 149 since the beginning of the pandemic. However, the updated numbers on recoveries and overall active cases have not been made available.

There have been three COVID-19-related deaths in the county.
