The 2020 Missouri State Fair has transitioned to a youth livestock show only. Some of the other traditional aspects of the Fair will not be happening this year, including no carnival, no vendor buildings, no competitive exhibit entries and no entertainment.

According to the “Latest Scoop” from the Fair, youth livestock shows will be held daily.

The 4-H Building will be open, featuring award-winning exhibits from Missouri 4-H youth from across the state.
COVID-19 guidelines also have been recently updated.

And, there will be food. Some concessionaires have agreed to be on site to service exhibitors and attendees. Show Stock vendors also will be on site for exhibitors.

The Fair is scheduled to be held August 13-23 in Sedalia.

Each year, farm families from all Missouri counties are selected as the “Farm Family of the Year” to represent their county at the Missouri State Fair. Due to the pivot of the Fair to a youth livestock show only, those farm families will be honored at the August 12-22, 2021, Missouri State Fair.
