Workers for Union Pacific Railroad are scheduled to close Lamms Lane at the intersection of Overstreet Road in Pettis County for two days this week for rail replacement.

According to a news release, the work is scheduled to be performed from 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, until 5 p.m. Thursday, September 3.

The rail crossing is located in the eastern part of the county, south of U.S. Highway 50. Crews will be directing traffic to Pony Path Road during the project.

If you are planning on traveling on Lamms Lane on Wednesday or Thursday, you are urged to take an alternate route.
