Chariton County added two new cases of COVID-19 to their total numbers on Wednesday.

The Chariton County Health Center reported the total number of positive cases in the county is now up to 49. With these latest numbers, there are 23 cases that remain active and 26 cases have recovered.

No further information will be provided about these individuals by the Chariton County Health Center, which will be working on contact tracing using the CDC guidelines to identify anyone who may have come into contact with the individuals while they were infectious.
