A 29-year-old Green Ridge man is facing multiple felony charges following a traffic stop and the execution of several search warrants earlier this year.

The Sedalia Police Department says on April 16, officers conducted a traffic stop of a suspect related to an ongoing drug investigation. He was immediately taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Investigators with the Sedalia Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit, patrol officers and Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies served five search warrants nearly simultaneously at a residence in Sedalia, a residence in Green Ridge, two storage units in Sedalia and the suspect’s vehicle.

The searches of all the locations revealed approximately 14 pounds of marijuana; four pounds of THC edibles; 75 marijuana plants; prescription pills; cocaine; psychedelic mushrooms; firearms; and a large amount of U.S. currency believed to be the profit of illegal drug sales. Additional evidence indicates the suspect was manufacturing and distributing a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of Green Ridge School.

Samuel David Woolery II has been charged with a Class B Felony for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance within 2,000 Feet of a School or College; a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance; three counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; and an Unclassified Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Woolery posted $125,000 surety bond on April 21. Woolery was indicted by a Grand Jury on June 24.

Woolery, entered a plea of not guilty on during his arraignment on July 20. A Hearing in this case that was scheduled to be held Tuesday, September 8 has been rescheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 22 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
