Missouri Valley College football team season-opening game scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12 against Culver-Stockton College, has been postponed and will now be played at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Gregg-Mitchell Field on the MVC campus in Marshall, Mo.

This decision has been made due to COVID-19 protocols, and will allow student-athletes to return to competition in the safest manner possible.

MVC has implemented numerous health and safety practices and guidance to protect students, faculty and staff.  Efforts to slow the spread of the virus have included conducting baseline testing on campus, requiring face coverings and mandating social distancing.
