The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state has reached six figures since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as of 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, the total was 101,134- up from 97,591 on Thursday, September 10.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by 13 from 1,691 on Thursday to 1,704 on Saturday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.

DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 13.
