A 49-year-old Grandview man is facing a drug-related felony charge after a traffic stop in Lafayette County on September 5.
According to a probable-cause statement, with the help of a K-9, authorities located baggies containing crystal-like substances believed to be methamphetamine that weighed a total of 100.3 grams; 15.25 grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana; a large quantity of unused baggies; three digital scales; a wax substance believed to be THC; and two Xanax pills.
Court documents say Roy Lee Gillespie has been charged with a Class A Felony for Trafficking Drugs or Attempt in the First Degree; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash only.
Gillespie’s initial hearing is pending at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
