Attendance is in the high 90-percentile in the Sweet Springs R-7 School District.

According to unofficial minutes from the school board meeting on Thursday, September 17, elementary principal Melanie Davis reported the attendance at 99.17 percent. High school principal Josh Hume said attendance is 97.37 percent at the high school.

Progress grades for elementary and midterm grades for high-school students are scheduled to be sent out on Friday, September 25.

The board approved the consent agenda, which included the final payment for the parking-lot improvement project.
