Increasing by nearly 1,800 on Friday, September 18, the state’s total number of positive COVID-19 cases topped 110,000 since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total increased by 1,795 from 108,334 on Thursday, September 17, to 110,129 on Friday.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by 23 from 1,757 on Thursday to 1,780 on Friday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.

DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 19.
