MU Extension is partnering with Lincoln University Cooperative Extension and North Central Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education sponsor a free workshop to learn how to write a Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) Farmer/Rancher grant next month.

Registration is now open for anyone who would like to learn how to apply for the grant and what it covers. Presenters will give ideas for projects and grant recipients will also be sharing their experiences.

Presenters include MU Extension horticulture specialist Debi Kelly and Miranda Duschack, a Lincoln University Cooperative Extension farm outreach worker and member of the Missouri SARE advisory council. Both Kelly and Duschak are experienced grant writers. Also presenting will be grant recipients Matt Lebon and Lindsay Wolff of Custom Foodscaping.

This free online workshop will be offered, via Zoom, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13.

To receive the Zoom address for the workshop, register at extension.missouri.edu/events/2020-sare-farmer/rancher-grant-writing-workshop.
