During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, October 1, Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner asked for approval of the transfer of some funds regarding the county’s economic development sales tax distribution.

Commissioners approved the fund transfer.

In other news, Fenner said one roadway that had been closed is now open.

However, Fenner said another roadway is now closed.

Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden said that low-water crossing also is known as Townsend Crossing over Flat Creek.

Fenner also said the painting of the water tower just east of Marshall Junction and south of I-70 is scheduled to be finished up on Thursday, October 1.
