The total number of positive COVID-19 cases increased by one in Chariton County on Saturday, October 17.

According to health-department officials, that brings the county’s total to 83 since the beginning of the pandemic.

With 78 positive patients released from public health isolation as recovered, there are five active cases.

Updates were not available from Saline, Carroll, Cooper, Howard, Lafayette and Pettis Counties in the immediate KMMO listening area.
