A Sedalia resident who allegedly was a getaway driver after a bank robbery more a year and a half ago is due in court again early next month.

According to the Sedalia Police Department, officers and detectives responded to Central Bank at 400 West Broadway for a reported robbery on December 26, 2018. The suspect fled on foot to an awaiting vehicle that was being driven by another subject, whom authorities say was David A. Graves, and he was arrested the next day.

Graves, who is now 54, has been charged with a Class D Felony for Stealing of $750 or More. Graves posted $25,000 surety bond on January 9, 2019, and entered a plea of not guilty on April 1, 2019.

Graves failed to show up for a pre-trial conference on Monday, October 19. The previous bond was revoked, and the court did not set new bond.

A motion hearing is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2. A two-day jury trial is still on the docket beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
