Railroad crews plan to close Route YY south of Kaye Road next week to complete repairs at the Brookfield Sub railroad crossing in Chariton County.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) says the road is scheduled to be closed between Kaye Road and Norfolk Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, October 26.

During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
