Nearly 100 new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Pettis County on Wednesday, November 18.

According to health-department officials, the county saw an increase of 98 positive cases, upping its total to 2,907 since the beginning of the pandemic. With 1,856 positive patients released from public health isolation as recovered and 30 deaths, there are 1,021 active cases, including 23 positive patients hospitalized.

Forty-two new positive cases were confirmed in Saline County, raising its total to 1,542. With 1,265 recoveries and 16 deaths, there are 261 active cases, including 11 positive patients hospitalized.

Howard County reported a rise of 30 new positive cases, raising its total to 647. With 570 recoveries and one death, there are 76 active cases.

In Chariton County, 16 new positive cases were confirmed on Wednesday, increasing its total to 372. Due to 233 recoveries, there are 139 active cases.

Updates were not available from Carroll, Cooper and Lafayette Counties.
