A power outage was reported in Sweet Springs at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 22.

According to Evergy’s outage map, crews are working on getting power back on for the nearly 500 customers currently without power. At this time, the cause of the outage is not known and Evergy has not given an estimated time frame as to when power will be restored. Crews are still evaluating the situation.
