The Marshall High School Debate Squad competed in three online Speech and Debate Tournaments in the past month.

According to a news release, Aareyanna Larimore finished second in Poetry Reading at the Park Hill South High School Tournament. Andi Gooden was third and Katherine Diaz sixth in Storytelling.

Kollin Huse advanced to the finals of Student Congress at the Belton High School Tournament.

At the Lee’s Summit West Tournament, Huse and Blair Donnell advanced to the finals of Student Congress; and Bailey Kueker and Gooden advanced to the semifinals of Prose Reading.

The squad will be competing in three more tournaments in December.
