Gary Dean Bell, age 73, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Life Church in Marshall, with Pastor Bobby Godwin officiating. Masks are required to be worn and social distancing must be observed. The service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/mylifechurchmarshall.

Born November 11, 1947 in Carrollton, he was the son of the late John Samuel Bell and Sylvia Mann Bell. Gary was raised in Carrollton where he graduated from Carrollton High School in 1966. He moved to Marshall in 1970 and retired from Marshall Habilitation Center after working there for nearly 30 years. On February 14, 1992 he married Kim Perkins Keith who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, Kim; he is survived by their children: Teresa Francisco of Columbia, Jennifer Bell of Las Vegas, NV, Samantha Quint of Marshall, Nathan Bell of Jefferson City, Jessica Phillips (Chad) of Marshall, Sarah Galloway of Marshall, Hanna Britt (Angel) of State College, PA, Dalton Bell of Marshall and Darianne Bell of Lake Ozark; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat Hogan of Carrollton; a special sister-in-law, Shelley Lynne Deweese; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; Kim’s son, Adam Joseph Keith; four brothers: Paul Bell, Jackie Bell, Sam Bell and Larry Bell (Gary’s twin); and three sisters: Janet Summers, Betty Watts, and Shirley Smith.
