A 25-year-old Hardin man suffered serious injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Ray County on Sunday.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by Leonard Chilcutt, crossed the centerline, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree, overturned and came to rest on its top.

Chilcutt, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Ray County Memorial Hospital, then flown by Life Flight helicopter to Liberty Hospital for treatment.

The crash happened at 11:05 p.m. on Highway 10, east of Culvert Farm Road.
