On October 22, 2020 the court granted Spellmeyer furlough to receive medical care in Columbia with the condition that he return to jail after being released from the hospital. The court issued a warrant for Spellmeyer’s arrest on October 28 after being informed that he had been released from the hospital and failed to return to the Pettis County Jail. The court has ordered no bond.
