The Lafayette County Health Department is finishing Phase 1A of the COVID-19 vaccine plan this week and next.

Health department officials say after they have completed the 1A vaccine administration, they will move to Phase 1B-Tier 1 and Phase 1B-Tier 2.

Health department officials add they are receiving thousands of phone calls and asking for residents to “please be patient.” They say they will get back to residents as soon as possible.

Health department officials also say, “We will let everyone know when we are scheduling 1B-Tier 1 and Tier 2 and send information out to all forms of media communication.”
