A business which has been in existence in Slater for about 20 years is in the process of closing. But the building on Main Street will not be empty for long.

The Slater City Council talked to the owners of C&R Market about possibly moving from its current location at 133 East Maple Street to where Slater General Store is now.

Slater City Administrator Gene Griffith explains.

Griffith said C&R Market is in with ACE Hardware, so shoppers also will be able to find lots of other supplies there, as well.

Again, Griffith said it will take about four months before C&R Market will move to its new location at 212 Main Street. It will continue to be open at its current location until then.
