Due to frigid temperatures and still some slick road conditions, several area schools are going to be closed, more will have a delayed start and others are going to hold classes online only on Wednesday, February 10.

According to school administrators, Prairie View State School in Marshall is closed. Also closed are Cole Camp R-1 and Cole Camp LSA; E.W. Thompson State School in Sedalia; Hardin-Central; Henry County R-1 at Windsor (originally had a two-hour late start); La Monte; Miami R-1; Odessa R-7; Orearville R-4; Otterville; Pilot Grove C-4 and St. Joseph’s in Pilot Grove; Sacred Heart in Sedalia; Santa Fe Schools in Alma and Waverly (originally a two-hour delayed start); and Trinity Lutheran in Alma. Schools having a two-hour delayed start are Pettis County R-5 in Houstonia and Hughesville. Schools distance learning online include Marshall Public Schools; Blackwater; Gilliam C-4; Hardeman R-10; Norborne R-8; and Slater.
