A 58-year-old Houstonia man was killed in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Saline County on Monday.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by David Mullineaux, crossed the center of the roadway and struck an eastbound vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old male, of Houstonia.

Mullineaux was pronounced deceased at the scene by Saline County Coroner Willie Harlow at 9:25 p.m. The driver and a 16-year-old male passenger, of Houstonia, in the other vehicle each suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

The crash happened at 8:39 p.m. on 125th Road, west of Diamond Avenue.
