Terry Lee Dolan, age 79, of Trenton, died Sunday, March 7, 2021, in Trenton, Missouri.

Terry was born the son of Chester and Kathryn (Couch) Dolan on May 16, 1941, in Grundy County, Missouri, at Forks of the River. He was a 1959 graduate of Trenton High School. After graduation, he attended Trenton Junior College, and graduated from the University Of Missouri-Columbia College of Agriculture. He was united in marriage to Marie Gladbach on September 17, 2011, in Trenton, Missouri. She survives of the home.

Terry was a lifelong farmer, and was the owner and broker of Heartland Realty in Trenton for many years. He was a recipient of the Outstanding Young Farmer Award, and was very active in FFA. In 1967, Terry was part of the Rotary Study Exchange Team that traveled to India. He was a member of the State FSA Committee, serving under President Carter, the Missouri Governor Agriculture Advisory Council, and the State Soil and Water District Commission, serving under Governor Teasdale. He was also a member of the Grundy County Democratic Central Committee, and was a former member of the Trenton Fair Board. Terry loved hunting and fishing, and enjoyed taking hunting and fishing trips to Canada, Colorado, and Florida. He enjoyed dancing, and entertaining family and friends at fish fries and barbeques.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Dolan of the home; one son, Doug Dolan and wife Stephanie of Trenton, Missouri; one daughter, Shari Kaye Viox and husband Tim of Columbia, Missouri, four grandchildren, Scotty Dolan and wife Lerissa, Brandon Dolan, Cassidy Viox, and Eva Viox; two step grandchildren, Mason Clark and Emma Clark; two great grandchildren, one step great grandchild, and one great granddaughter expected this summer. He was also survived by one brother, Gary Dolan and wife Ellen of Trenton, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Margaret Gladbach of Columbia, Missouri; two nephews, John Dolan and Aaron Dolan; and many cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Gilbert R. and Mercedes Gladbach; and one great nephew, Drew Dolan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Trenton, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trenton FFA and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
