A Marshall High School Student won an event at the District Speech and Debate Tournament.

According to a press release, Connor Grossenburg won the Lincoln-Douglas Debate competition.

Matthew Robbins and Garrett Bristow finished second in Public Forum Debate.

Norberto Aguirre was third in humorous.

Andi Gooden was fourth in dramatic; Katherine Diaz fifth in storytelling; and Nick Shireman and Kollin Huse sixth in oratory and radio speaking, respectively.

Grossenburg now qualifies for the State Debate Tournament in April. Students from Marshall High School have qualified for the State Tournament 42 of the past 43 years.
