Lois Ellen Boyd, 82, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Legendary Nursing and Rehab in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery in Chilhowee, MO. Face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed at all services. Born January 10, 1939, in Holden, MO, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Edwin Yoder and Eve Elizabeth Parrott Yoder. She earned a master’s degree in speech pathology and was the school speech pathologist at Benton School in Marshall and Miami School in Miami, MO. On July 22, 1993, at Marshall Church of the Nazarene, she married John W. Boyd who survives of the home. She moved to Marshall from Holden and was a member of Marshall Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her husband John; two daughters, Gloria Burden (Gary) and Mary McIntyre (Jack) of Holden; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Tammy Palmer (Johnnie) of Marshall and David Boyd (Ashleigh) of Columbia, MO; four step-grandchildren; one brother, John Yoder (Frances) of Holden; and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald Yoder and Richard Yoder; and one sister, Ruth Courtney.
