Lee R. Jasper, age 79, of Sweet Springs and formerly of Marshall, died Monday, April 12, 2021, at his home.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating.

Born December 21, 1941 in Dallas County, MO, he was the son of the late Bert Jasper and Leona Smith Jasper. On June 22, 1985 he married Wanda Blackwell who survives of the home. Lee lived in Saline County for many years and worked in construction, maintenance and farming.

In addition to his wife, Wanda; he is survived by six children: Jamie Cantrell and Lindsey Jasper, both of Arkansas, Felicia Thomas (Phil) of Lone Jack, Brian Jasper of Smithton, Stacy Larsen and Renee Mullins (Shawn), of Marshall; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; eight siblings: Shirley Allen, Ellen Schulte, Patsy Hayes, Fern Fuemmeler, Carmen Phillips, David Jasper, Greg Jasper and J.C. Jasper; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
